Modelling In Maya- Dorothea Character Model- Head Modelling: Part 1


During this first part of modelling I blocked out the rough shape of the head, I tried my best to make sure all the vertices  were as equally distributed as possible, and followed the facial curves. Let me know if anything needs changing to make the model better.


So I updated my orthographs a bit, and made them into image planes in Maya, just to have the basic set up ready for modelling the head. I thought I'd split the head and body up similar to Jetpack Jones, just to make it a bit more focused for myself. 

Part way though, I did change the side orthograph so that I could see where the skull would end, instead of improvising.
