Premise: Music Research

As I wanted music within my animation, I realised it would be a clear driving point of the animation itself. Justin suggested looking into music suggesting The Little Mermaid (1989) as a starting point, focusing on 'Part Of Your World', looking into similar 'I want songs', and what is required when making this type of song in order to create the right effect on an audience.

I watched this video, which made various points on how song writing within animation takes place:

Overall I want this to be more of a musical theatre esc type of song fitting into the 'I want song' category within the musical theatre genre, rather than having a traditional song.
